KEC is supporting the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park Bioblitz on Saturday, April 26 at 1 pm.

• Bayview Trailhead and Bayview Shoreline – 28901 WA-104, Poulsbo WA

KEC is looking for volunteers to leave from either the Stottlemeyer, Bayview Trailheads or Bayview shoreline to observe and photograph living organisms in the park using the iNaturalist app or website to record your observations. People with expertise identifying birds, fungus, plants, animals, amphibians or reptiles are needed to work with groups of participants. While we are encouraging people to make observations between 1- 4 pm, any time you can participate is appreciated.

Fill out the registration form to participate and/or volunteer as a nature identifier in the Bioblitz.

There is a field to indicate if you would be able to help with identifications. The iNaturalist app is also very helpful with starting the identification process. Download at Apps Store or Google Play.
