KEC hosts educational programs on environmental topics held monthly at the Kingston Village Green Community Center and other locations across Kitsap County. Additional outreach events may also be scheduled.
Join KEC in April as Dark Sky Advocates explain why dark skies are important to the health of humans, wildlife, and the climate. A panel of community members will join the Advocates to talk about how you can participate in research to support bird migration and track light pollution.
In March, KEC continues the "Stewardship begins at home" series, offering actionable ways to support a healthy ecosystem in your own backyard.
