Kitsap County is updating its Comprehensive Plan (due in 2024) as required by the state Growth
Management Act (GMA). This coming year—2023—is an intense time of planning and the
perfect time for KEC members to promote and educate about the Rights of Nature and how we
live in relationship to nature.
On January 10, Eric Baker, Deputy Administrator for Kitsap County, will join our meeting to
share the latest info on possible changes in zoning and land use that affect us and nature. The County’s Comprehensive Plan
affects us all. Please join us to interact with Eric and other KEC folks.
